Boiler Suit

The yellow-ochre suit with some oil marks on it is his trade suit and the pattern one he wears throughout the whole game. Open on chest, the suit reveals a normal white shirt and his personal touch. One of his pieces of jewel is the Red Sun Pendant he wears on neck, a Japanese symbol which resembles the rising sun; the beginning of a new, when the sun brings its light to remove the previous darkness. It is a perfect item to represent the renaissance. Inside of his tool belt tight around the waist, he has every necessary tool for surviving his daily life or his worst nightmare. Among them, there is his second piece of jewel, the folding knife. This time, it is used for good purposes: self protection and protection of others in danger around him. The image of Aquila shaped on its closure shows his independence from the world; in other words, his preference and capacity for walking alone, no matter how difficult the way is, fighting for what he most want. His shoes are brown and in a worker style.

Club Scene

This clothing reports the time David was a gangster and also shows some of his refined taste as shown on the collections of items necessary to unlock it. According to his thoughts about 'Leather Pants' and 'Leather Jacket', leather goods look better and better the more you use them and using a well-refined jacket would not bring him problems. The 'Open-neck Shirt' is an undershirt with a wide-neck design which shows off his pecks. His pair of 'Boots' is a well polished pair of boots with silver buckles on the sides with a simple design and in brown color. The most important detail of it is that he does not wear his Red Sun Pendant but a 'Rugged Pendant', a rugged pendant in the shape of a flaming eagle, heavy and very manly. An official image shows him holding a handgun on right hand, which suits perfectly the whole situation: the time he dealt with firearms. This is a perfect image of his past during the time he was probably an important member of the local mafia who possesses power and some quite valuable object thanks to his strong influences over the other members.

Sole Survivor

The Sole Survivor outfit shows basically how strong David is and the care he has for his own body. He is the only main character capable of walking shirtless around the zombie-infested city. Instead of being more vulnerable, he shows to be stronger and ready to handle an efficient fight against them. He was not just born to be strong; he had also to run after this feature using the ways he could. Some evidences of this are shown on the five special items collected to unlock this suit. 'Wild Cologne' is a product combines musk with the proven power of tiger hormones; 'Wild Briefs' are tight around the waist with plenty of room down below; 'Barefoot Healing' is a chart alerting that health begins in the feet and shoes and socks are the cause of disease; 'The Body's Limit' is a book which says the way of maximizing your physical strength is knowing your body's limit and 'Suede Pants' according to him fits loose enough to allow some hard core zombie ass kicking, too! These items bring his wildest instincts back to surface and additionally, it is a proof that he does not need much to do what is necessary: simply survive. Following the whole description of his special items, the only apparent vesture he wears is a trouser and his hair is completely loose.

The 4th Costume

David wears four different costumes on the game and not three as most people believe because he is not playable when dressed on his fourth clothing. During his epilogue, he is not wearing the type B suit like all the other characters – except George – are on their respective ones but he’s on a completely new suit. Instead of the Rugged Eagle Pendant from the Club Scene, he wears his Red Sun Pendant on his neck over a normal white shirt and not an Opened-Neck one. His jacket is longer reaching his knees. Both pants and jacket are dark blue very similar to the Club Scene and shoes are black. It can be considered a mixture of Club Scene and Boiler Suit with additional details. He is not dressed as a gangster but as a man of class. Additionally, his hair is pony-tailed in the same way as when dressing his Boiler Suit, with loose fronts on both sides and not completely tight on back. Actually, this is the only costume besides the Boiler suit that he really dresses. Others are simply representatives and for more game play styles.
