True Memories
Once again, Yoko - like any other character - has not passed thorough all ten scenarios on her way out of the city. Her whole walkthrough is restricted to Resident Evil Outbreak game. There is no sign of her presence in any scenario of Resident Evil Outbreak File#2 but she is a playable character in this game too. The only scenario she is not involved on Outbreak is The Hive. Hellfire remains the doubt as it will be explained soon. The other three is certain that she passed by before escaping. She is a survivor like anyone and a survivor who also possesses a reasonable way out because she is involved on the ending scenario Decisions, Decisions.
At the first moment, Yoko is at J's Bar with other nine people having overtime before going home like seven of them. Yoko is dressed with yellow shirt, a dark jacket, a short skirt, panty hose and black shoes when walking to the women's restroom. Her hair is tied with a hair band and she is wearing glasses. She is the only character who is not at the bar area itself when zombies invade the bar. At the restroom, she changes her clothing to the dark gray shirt, green jacket, blue jeans and brown shoes. She removes her glasses, wears transparent contact lenses and then cuts her hair. At the sink, she leaves her glasses, the scissors after cutting her hair and a handkerchief Kevin gave her. According to her, "Kevin gave me this handkerchief. He may not look it, but he's a really nice guy..." After finishing her job, the zombies start to crash the doors, windows of the bar and also a small passage close to the floor next to where she is. She gets scared with them and then the rush to escape began. Nobody can simply disappear from the bar once it is completely surrounded by them so, there are ten people involved on this scenario. She does not listen to the news on TV or see Will being attacked by the uninvited guest. When she leaves the bathroom, the mess is already set there.
The group starts together but do not escape or walk together through the whole game. After leaving the bar, small groups follow different paths and Yoko is completely alone in Below Freezing point by several reasons. The first one is that Alyssa and Jim are the only guys who might follow her. Yoko shares mutual help with Alyssa and Jim is a good helper of her but there is no sign of Jim or Alyssa through the whole scenario. They - or any other character - will never appear around Yoko at the moment the GATE 1 is opened or at the moment Yoko talks with Monica. Yoko does not lead the way because his personality reveals she is not a leader or someone trusty enough to be followed by someone or a group of people. Once again, the old story that she leaded the survivors to the laboratory is a completely non-sense theory that say that everyone walk together until the end because this does not occur.
During her meeting with Monica, Yoko more or less remembers her face and name. Monica is holding a wallet with samples of viruses and is ready to escape but had a problem to leave because there was absolutely no power supplied to the train. She then threats Yoko with a gun in order to steal her identification card and then move up looking for other exit. Yoko's ID card is extremely useful to open doors and consequently it makes the way out easier. She ends up without it because she cannot react when facing that very aggressive situation.
So, the second non-sense happening on Below Freezing Point when she is not the main player is that she will walk towards the infinite set of stairs and will remain stopped without interacting with anyone around her. If the main player is Alyssa, Cindy or Jim, a third non-sense event happens. She will remain stopped at the B8F while the main player will go up and reach the ventilation whole. Being one of these three, the main player will reach the B7F and if the Main player walks to the B7F chemical storage (easy/normal) or to the B7F chemical disposal room (hard/very hard), Yoko will be dead or on a zombie-like form. The situation in this case is very similar to what happens with David King in End of the Road and George Hamilton in Decisions, Decisions when they are not chosen. Yoko dies where she cannot be before the main player; in this case, because she remained on B8F and the only passage to B7F is the one the main player followed. So, this is another ridiculous event which is just a stupid game and not the true happenings with her. When playing with the others not mentioned, they will reach the B6F before the B7F so, it would make sense playing with them if there was an evidence of their presence on the scenario but Yoko is definitely alone.
The building is the same one she worked as a trainee when employed by William Birkin. She knows the whole laboratory as well as people who works there like Monica, William - even not appearing on this game - and Carter, who gives her a magnum handgun to help her escape from that place. He does not die because he is present at the End of the Road Scenario which occurs many hours after this scenario; he just loses consciousness for some time. She does not remember everything that was occurring on that place thanks to the surgery she passed by some time before but she is the character that is most involved on the scenario storyline and the one who gives it perfectly sense. Yoko already has his fingerprint registered and consequently is allowed to use a shortcut in order to leave the place very quickly. Yoko is not good at handling firearms so, she dispose of chemicals stored around the laboratory which are much simpler for her to use them against the zombie employees of the place. Her abilities are very useful on those narrow corridors even when dealing with hunters that get unfrozen as it becomes necessary to turn off the air refrigerator system of that place in order to escape. There are a lot of technical files that are suitable for her to read, including a file that reports about a testing subject injected with the G-Virus; probably one of the researchers conducted or supervised by Birkin, the creator of this variation of the original T-Virus. This is the only moment that a mutant infected with the G-Virus appears. It's the same being that attacks Monica as she tries to start the frozen turn table.
Well, Yoko's real proof of purity on heart appears when she finds Monica dead on her way to the turn table. At the beginning of the scenario, Monica acts like a crazy bitch with Yoko - quote spoken by Alyssa when she is put on this scenario by the main player - but Yoko does not hate her by her attitude. Of course she has no idea why she acted that stupid way but that would be enough reason to create a bad image of her and do not like her but she does not use any coarse language or any other single expression of dislike for her. She can be an enemy but Yoko would probably not like to see her ending like that.
Anyway, after going up with the turn table, she is pursued by the tiny infected creature which turns into a huge monster but it is not necessary handling any weapon to fight against it; that is why it is perfectly made for her. Shooting it is purely optional because the train can be activated in order to hit it. Additionally, it walks slower than her and the only worry is the small creatures that fall from it. Yoko survives this scenario because her appearance ahead is certain. She recognizes that her memory is really bad but does not give up; she is sure that at any time she will remember everything that happened.
Her appearance on Hellfire scenario is considered simply because this scenario is free and she is one of the AI partners that normally appear there. David's appearance is the only which is certain but once Alyssa and Yoko appears as AI partners the same way as him, it is possible that they passed by the hotel in flames together. Probably Alyssa leaded the way because David and Yoko are the characters that follow her. Nobody else besides David is certain; David alone or more than 3 or 4 can be reasonable so, Yoko can certainly be there with him and Alyssa. So, they fight together until reaching the Main Lobby of the Apple Inn and after meeting the owner of the place, they are rescued by the fireman which will appear one more time during her walkthrough.
Decisions, Decisions is a very peculiar scenario in which Yoko is. There are three or more than three characters involved in a complex storyline. David King goes alone to the Umbrella's Laboratory where he meets Linda and is invited by her to escape; this situation does not happen with anyone else. David is not someone who leads the way to the others or is followed by others besides Yoko and Mark. He is the lone wolf and walks alone most part of the time. Once both End of the Road and Decisions, Decisions scenarios are ending scenarios, nobody can be in two places at the same time and the only scenario that can allow the presence of more than one without causing trouble to the storyline is in part just Decisions, Decisions. This happens exactly because George is at the RPD parking lot reading a bulleting from his student Peter Jenkins who calls him to go to the University. Of course there is nobody around him on that moment but he needs to walk from one place to the other. It's completely reasonable he finding some survivors that could accept following him. Additionally, Yoko is a student of Raccoon University and a person who has a good relationship with George Hamilton. She can perfectly follow him anywhere if she meets him. The same does not happen on End of the Road because David is the whole time at the laboratory and nobody else appears during the critical moments that are the movies in which he fights and is invited by Linda. So, any other character there is illogical.
Another particularity of Decisions, Decisions scenario is that the game will not put George Hamilton as an AI partner if you do not choose him as the main player the same way Yoko will not appear as an AI partner if you do not choose her as the main player in Below Freezing Point. This will certainly cause trouble to the storyline because what happens to him when he is not chosen is similar to what happens to her and David in their respective scenarios; George will arrive at a place he cannot be before the others. There are two ways to the B2F elevator passage. The first is by the way he first goes that leads to the locked double door and it will be opened only using the cardkey which is on the other side (Back Square) or at the pier (hard/very hard). George does not break any window to reach the Back Square and then go to the basement before the others. The second way to the B2F elevator passage is by the elevator which will work after inputting the password on the computer but when he is not chosen as the main player and the main player goes to B2F, he is already sat on the floor badly hurt. This is completely unreasonable and that is why the true storyline comes having George as the Main Player. George and Cindy shares mutual help and more than this, they are an official couple. So, her presence on this scenario as well as George in Wild Things makes perfectly sense. Therefore, she is the third character involved but as an AI partner, the same way as Yoko.
According to what Peter Jenkins suggested, their objective is to produce the Daylight; the cure for the madness that overtook the city. Peter had the help of Greg, the same researcher who operated Yoko Suzuki suppressing her memory. He appears at the introduction movie apparently looking like villain because of the Tyrant but the Tyrant is the supposed donator of T-infected cells used during Peter's research on the Daylight. Unfortunately, Peter die and becomes a zombie like any other people which is infected with the T-Virus ends up after a long time. He was probably not able to cure himself on time but the recipe for creating the reagent is fully written and according to him, George was the only who could understand it. The P-Base is at the Basement; V-Poison at the Emission Tower and the T-Blood is taken from the same Tyrant that appeared with Greg at the beginning of the scenario. More characters appear when reaching the Back Square, including Nicholai Ginevaef who shoots a special capsule on the Tyrant to collect its blood. Their way and everything each one did is completely uncertain but every single compound is taken and brought to the 3F laboratory; place where the incubator is set and after setting the three compounds at the incubator, it starts to move but stops thanks to electricity failure on the laboratory. Going to the second hall, the main reason why Yoko is a part of this scenario finally appears.
Before leaving the town, everyone meets Greg but Yoko in special. The movie 'Greg and Yoko' occurs only when she is the main player or an AI partner but is essential to complete the whole storyline. It is possible that she went to the Second Hall alone once nobody else appears around them; it would not corrupt the logical idea. He mentions that "it's been two years" since her entry on Umbrella Corporation but she might not remember of it yet. Her position as an AI partner is simply a question of game; the way George dies is simply ridiculous and non-sense. He is the main character and who leads the way to that place. After this quick meeting, Greg is shot in the head by Nicholai and dies. Nicholai activate the time bombs of that place and then, there is a short period of time until the place blows up. George and Yoko are wise enough to know the importance of the Daylight but considering her loss of memory, George can be considered the only who knows and will not leave that place without samples of it once it is only a question of rerouting power to restart the incubator. They are there because of the Daylight. The Tyrant is certainly their biggest threat and the game will make it always follow them but they head towards the exit of that place.
Notes
After they reaching the back square, the University blows and call the attention of a chopper that is looking for survivors among the mess. Noticing there were people still alive, around, the same fireman which helped Yoko and company to leave the Apple Inn appear and call them to go to the Front Square where the chopper would land and here comes a huge discussion about how they arrived there.
First of all, only David, Linda and Rodriguez leave the town by the chopper Rodriguez pilot on the End of the Road scenario simply because David walks alone, no other character besides him is invited, anyone else will corrupt the storyline and he is man who finishes what he had started. If a reasonable way out was suggested to him, he will fight for it; period. All the other characters can be put here but there will be more problems on it. There is just enough space for four more people on the chopper and there are seven characters left. Cindy, George and Yoko were mentioned because their presence is completely reasonable but others can be a part of this scenario too because on the way to the University, George can meet others than these two girls. David is definitely not a part of Decisions, Decisions no matter how many times he appears as an AI partner. Therefore, there are four characters which were not mentioned.
The last appearance of Alyssa is around Raccoon Forest so, she should probably found her way out around there but this is not shown. She coming to the University would not make any sense because she does not use to follow George. Mark simply disappears. Jim can be involved with Underbelly scenario but this is just a possibility. Kevin was probably involved on Desperate Times scenario and moved out with Rita to somewhere. They are not out of the town yet. There is absolutely no connection between these scenarios and End of the Road because the area which the whole scenario takes does not allow any car arriving there. Actually, David has never left that area and that is why he is the only who can be on that laboratory. But these 4 (or 5 including Rita) could be involved on Decisions, Decisions.
Anyway, if there are more than 4 involved, the exceeding is left behind. It means that no matter if people agree or not, the bad ending 'Kevin and Jim' is the only who can make some sense. They were not mentioned because they are not important for the storyline but they can be there. The others are definitely not true. David is not there. By finishing up at the forest, Alyssa is probably not there too. Therefore, 'David and Mark' and 'Alyssa and Yoko' do not happen.
About how George, Yoko and Cindy killed the Tyrant is a good subject to be discussed. George's involvement on Wild things with Cindy is something completely reasonable. It means that if George is involved on a scenario of Resident Evil Outbreak File#2, he already carries the ampoule shooter. Pay attention that File#2 came after Outbreak and brought many improvements including the personal item but if he possesses it for being a doctor, there is absolute no reason to get rid of it. In other words, in Decisions, Decisions, he will never appear with an Ampoule shooter but following this idea, they were (or he was) able to kill the Tyrant since the moment they had Daylight samples in hands because it's a question of inserting the capsule and shoot it. Well, it makes perfectly sense but anyway for not being too manipulative on my ideas, let's consider they killed it at Front Square when he appeared again for the third time to be something really heroic. Anyway, George is cool, calm and collected; a person who disposes of patience even when the situation is not looking good and this is what makes him takes a snap decision. Once the Daylight suppresses the growth of T-infected cells, it could surely be an effective weapon against the Tyrant; probably not deadly as the game shows. Once the Tyrant is dead, the chopper finally lands to take everyone out of that place. Who in fact kills it is uncertain but George is probably main the hero because he could already be carrying his trade equipment.
Once again, the factor game comes to evidence. The final shows one character at once leaving the town by the chopper so, 'Remain Hopeful' by George Hamilton is certainly the most reasonable of this scenario but the same ending by Yoko or Cindy is also considerable because they are involved no matter if there is only one sample for them or each of them has a sample. The most important is to carry a sample out of the town in order to try to reproduce it. Linda or David does not carry because she is the creator and has the whole recipe for the AT-1521 reagent on her mind; she does not necessarily need a sample for doing this. The difference is that on Decisions, Decisions, they cure themselves before leaving the town whilst Linda cures David after leaving the town on End of the Road scenario.
The real fate of the four others is unknown until the present moment. This uncertain fate for them is a reason to justify the necessity of Resident Evil Outbreak File#3. Outbreak storyline is incomplete with just two games.
